Our Team

Mark Argenti, Co-Founder, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer

In July 2009, Mark was appointed by Gen2Media's Board of Directors to serve as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Under his proven and accomplished leadership, Gen2Media is rapidly transforming from what was once a relative start-up company to what is now a fully operational publicly traded enterprise engaged in establishing market dominance in the explosive digital media and online video industries.

Prior to his appointment as CEO, Mark directed the daily operations of Gen2Media subsidiary Media Evolutions - a company he originally co-founded with Ian McDaniel in 2000 and subsequently joined forces in 2007 with E360, LLC to form Gen2Media Corporation. In addition, he was instrumental in creating, developing and managing operations for the e360LIVE digital video network and oversaw all of the Company's video production projects and studio activities. On the technology development front, Mark, in collaboration with Ian, pioneered a proprietary video playback technology that is now widely viewed as the industry's definitive gold standard for use in live concert and stage production; and he teamed with Ian and Company President Mary Spio to design, develop and commercialize Gen2Media's patent-pending video publishing technology and Smart Content Management System™ - technology that today powers digital video delivery and digital ad serving for numerous major U.S. media companies and corporate publishers, including Clear Channel, Emmis Communications, Tribune and Salem Communications, among many others.

Mark is perhaps best known in the industry for creating, directing and producing cutting-edge, high impact video imagery for many (if not most) of today's most prolific names in entertainment. His current and past client roster reads like a "Who's Who" in chartbusting music and on Hollywood's A-List, including Will Smith, Janet Jackson, Mary J. Blige, Justin Timberlake, Black Sabbath, Christina Aguilera, No Doubt, Black Eyed Peas, Jessica Simpson and Ozzy Osborne, just to name a few. In addition, Mark has completed full digital media production for Universal Studios, Screenworks, Andre Agassi, NBC, Dreamworks, LiveWire Entertainment, Sheraton Taylor Group, Chili's, Monte Carlo Celebrity Golf Invitational, Spike TV and many more.

Mary A. Spio, Co-Founder, President and Director

A noted digital media expert, acclaimed entrepreneur and one of Essence Magazine's featured "Top 15 Women of Power" in 2006, Mary serves as Gen2Media's President and as a member of the Board of Directors. On a day-to-day basis, she devotes a large portion of her time overseeing the Company's media sales teams operating in Orlando, Los Angeles and New York City; and advising brands and national advertisers on implementing effective brand-building strategies that leverage Gen2Media's digital media network and patented video publishing platform.

As a former Deep Space Engineer, Mary began her career at Ultra Corp. where she worked on the Orbital Design for the Iridium Project, before moving on to PanAmSat Corporation, where she worked as a Senior Satellite Applications Engineer and focused on applying digital satellite communication technology for several national television broadcast and cable networks. In 2001, Mary joined The Boeing Corporation as Head of Satellite Communications Systems. As challenging as that sounds for a then 26-year old young woman, Mary's talent and ingenuity in the field of electronic engineering and computer science led her to invent and win several patents for Customer Engagement and Demographic Targeting technology, resulting in Boeing forming a new division: Boeing Digital Cinema. Mary's disruptive digital innovation has been used to redefine how major motion pictures are distributed to movie theaters worldwide by way of satellite transmissions. High grossing pictures such as Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones; Ocean's 11; Planet of the Apes; Spy Kids and Monsters, Inc. are among numerous that have been digitally delivered to big screens everywhere using Mary's technology.

This success fueled Mary's passion for digital technology and her head-first dive into entrepreneurialism. Her profoundly ‘right on' instincts for building brand affinity, combined with her proven technical and engineering prowess, ultimately led her to form E360, LLC, in partnership with Mark Argenti and Ian McDaniels. In 2007, E360, LLC joined forces with Media Evolutions to form Gen2Media Corporation. Through E360 and other entrepreneurial ventures, she has provided technical and marketing leadership and brand building guidance to many of the world's largest media, entertainment, gaming, music and retail companies and brands, including ABC, Sam Goody, Media Play, Suncoast Motion Pictures, Trans World Entertainment (FYE Stores), AOL, Coca-Cola, Toyota and many, many more household names.

Mary is a recipient of the prestigious Yueh-Ying Hu Memorial National Award for Innovation and Boeing Outstanding Achievement in Electrical Engineering Award. She holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Global Innovation Management from Georgia Institute of Technology and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University. Mary is also a sought-after speaker and has been quoted or featured in numerous national publications, books and broadcasts, including The Oprah Winfrey Show - The Courage to Follow a Dream; USA Today; MSNBC; the New York Times bestselling series Chicken Soup for the Soul; and Georgia Tech Alum Magazine, among many others.

When not traveling the country educating major brands, partners, customers, agencies and prospects, Mary tries to sneak in some time to inline skate and (when no one is looking) learn a few Hip Hop moves. She is an ardent music lover and is engaged in authoring a new book on the digital revolution. Not surprisingly, Mary is also fluent in five different languages.
